CUET 2022 Exam: 

CUET (Common University Entrance Test) exam will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) to enroll students into various UG programmes offered  by all central universities. Now it is essential  to  appear in the CUET.

Registration: CUET 2022 Registration process has been started from 06th April 2022 onwards and ends on 06th May 2022 (5 pm).

Exam Dates

The exam is to be held in the 1st and 2nd week of July 2022 in 2 slots, Slot 1: 195 minutes (3:15 hours) and Slot 2: 225 minutes (3:45 hours).

CUCET/CUET Exam Pattern

Section IA  

Paper I of CUCET or which was known as Section IA. Candidates can choose from one of the 13 languages like  Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Urdu, Assamese, Bengali, Punjabi, Odia, and English. Candidates will have the option to opt for additional languages like French, Spanish, German, Nepali, Persian, Italian, Arabic, Sindhi, Kashmiri, Konkani, Bodo, Dogri, Maithili, Manipuri, Santhali, Tibetan, Japanese, Russian and Chinese if they wish to pursue courses in them. Candidates will get 45 minutes for each language and the candidate must attempt 40 questions out of 50 for each opted language.

The exam will test reading comprehension, questions on vocabulary, synonyms, and antonyms, besides other things.

  Section IB 

There are 20 Languages in Section IB. Any other language apart from those offered in Section IA may be chosen. The candidate must attempt 40 questions out of 50 in each language. There will be 45 minutes for each language. The exam will test reading comprehension, questions on vocabulary, synonyms, and antonyms, besides other things.

Section II

This section is related to the domain of candidates. Candidates who wish to pursue courses in the specific domain will have to clear this section. This section will be held for 27 domains like: Accountancy/ Book Keeping, Biology/ Biological Studies/ Biotechnology, Business Studies, Chemistry, Computer Science/ Informatics Practices, Economics/ Business Economics, Engineering Graphics, Entrepreneurship, Geography, History, Home Science, Knowledge Tradition–Practices India, Legal Studies, Commercial Arts, Mathematics, Physical Education/ NCC, Physics, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology, Teaching Aptitude, Agriculture, Mass Media/ Mass Communication, Anthropology, Fine Arts/ Visual Arts (Sculpture/ Painting), Performing Arts and Sanskrit. the candidate will get 45 minutes for each domain subject. Candidates must attempt 40 out of 50 questions. Moreover, a candidate can choose 06 Domains as desired by theapplicable University/Universities.

CUET 2022 Eligibility Criteria

UNDERGADUATE COURSE : The student is to have scored a minimum of 50% marks in class 12th for General category candidates and 45% marks for SC/ST candidates.

POST GADUATE COURSE: The student are required to  have scored a minimum of 55% (General category) and 50% (SC/ST/OBC/PWD category) in Graduation Degree. In some places, there is a different cut off for the OBC candidate students

Ph.D Programme: The candidate is required to have a post-graduate degree in the particular stream with a minimum of 55% marks for general candidates, 50% marks for OBC candidate and 45% marks for SC/ST/PWD candidate.

Application Fee

CUET 2022 Application Fee can be paid by debit/credit card/net banking or Challan of SBI bank any branch. Candidates have to pay the application fee either online or offline mode. GST and other taxes will be applicable as by Govt. of India/ Bank. Check category-wise CUET 2022 Application Fee from the below table.

CUET 2022 Admit Card 

Admit Card will be released around 10 to 15 days before the exam date announced for CUET 2022.  CUET hall ticket 2022 along with a valid photo ID is the mandatory document on the day of the examination.

 CUET 2022 Cut Off

The cut of for CUET  will be released after the CUET 2022 exam is completed. The CUET Cut Off will be released along with the scorecard of the entrance examination. Only the candidates who score more than the Cut Off marks are invited to participate in online/offline CUET counselling by the relevant authority. The CUET Cut Off will be based on the number of applicants, the difficulty level of the exam, previous year cut off marks and the number of seats available. The cut-off marks may vary depending upon the programmes and the universities.
