RULES OF SUCCESS SERIES:  I. PHYSICAL HEALTH

Success requires a lot of hard work, patience, dedication, will power and stamina to cope with the emerging hurdles on the way of success. For carrying out all these activities our physical health must be sound. For this, we should take a healthy and balanced diet and try to remain stress-free as much as possible. Jeanette Jenkins rightly said, “Every living cell in your body is made from the food you eat. If you consistently eat junk food then you’ll have a junk body.”   The sound body possesses a sound mind.  If we want to achieve something extraordinary, we need extraordinary energy and that energy can be had with the help of our body. We need to exercise regularly and take a nutritious diet to cope with the stress. It is well-proved proverbs that health is wealth. If our health is not sound we cannot enjoy life and the taste of success.

Our body is a machine that is a composition of various components and it is our utmost duty to maintain it. Our hearts, kidneys, lungs, eyes, ears, nose, hands, feet, etc. All body parts are important and vital for our body. We must increase our immune system as day by day newer viruses are emerging and making us ill.  But if our immune system is strong no disease can attack us. Citrus fruits are good for increasing our immunity. Citrus fruits include lemons, grapefruits,  oranges, tangerines, limes, Clementine, etc. other fruits and vegetable useful for boosting our immunity are spinach, ginger, yoghurt, almonds, turmeric, green tea, papaya and sunflower seeds etc. We must avoid junk food and marked based food items. Home-made food is the best remedy for boosting immunity. Drinking plenty of water is also good for our body and it saves us from dehydration.

Although there have been several people around the world who despite being disabled achieved the name and fame.  But they were people of high spirit and they crossed all kinds of barriers. The list of such people includes Stephen Hawking, John Hockenberry, Ralph Braun, Stevie Wonder, Helen Keller, Lenin Moreno, etc. but such list is not so long.

The habit of waking up early in the morning before sunrise is a good practice to become successful. The day we get up early will be happier as we have sufficient time. Rising early is also good for our health as our body takes pure oxygen in the morning, which gives us the energy to work all day long. We get up early and get time for meditation, which is beneficial for our health. We get a kind of edge over other people as we have more time to chalk out our plans and strategies. Regular exercise, a healthy diet, drinking plenty of water keeps our bodies fit.  Thus it can be concluded that good health is a prerequisite for success.
